uPVC Installation by RM Windows at Nechung
Monastery, Himachal Pradesh
At RM Windows, we take great pleasure in offering fenestration solutions that combine craftsmanship with cutting edge fenestration technology, such as our project at Nechung Monastery located on Himachal Pradesh’s beautiful hills.
Within this project, we were contracted to supply and install high-grade uPVC windows and doors tailored specifically to match the colorful, spiritually charged Tibetan building style of this monastery. In order to preserve its traditional appearance while providing all of the performance benefits associated with contemporary materials, brown wood-effect uPVC profiles were selected; these timeless classic wood looks provided classic aesthetics while providing all modern performance benefits associated with contemporary materials.
This project included casement windows, fixed windows and custom uPVC doors designed to withstand the challenging mountain weather of this area. Our systems boast advanced thermal insulation properties as well as soundproofing features to reduce sound levels, as well as warping, rust and fade resistance – all features that make our uPVC systems suitable for high altitude environments.
At our firm, we ensured the project met both functional and aesthetic demands for its completion. From its minimalist lines to its warm brown finish and energy-efficient glass panels, the end product was both visually appealing and long-term durable – perfect for an environment used as a spiritual place of worship by monks, pilgrims, and visitors throughout the year.
